Join us on Halloween for a Mask Par-Aid!

Sylvania Church Mask-Par-Aid 
(Trunk or Treat)
 
What:  A "two-in-one" event for children to safely collect Halloween candy AND an opportunity to donate much-needed food and personal care items to Sylvania Area Family Services
 
Where: Parking lots of Sylvania UCC, Olivet Lutheran Church, Saint Stephen Lutheran Church, and Sylvania First UMC
 
When:  October 31st - 2 to 4 PM
 
 
How to Participate:
 
1) Donate bagged candy, dropped off to our church office by October 30. Sign up here!
 
2) Decorate your trunk and pass out candy during the event from our parking lot. Sign up here!
 
3) Volunteer to direct traffic in and out of our lot during the par-aid.   Sign up here!
 
4) Volunteer to decorate the church parking lot ahead of the event. Sign up here!
 
5) Drive your kids around from church to church, celebrating the holiday 2020 style!
 
6) Invite friends and neighbors to attend.  All are welcome!
 
 
Safety Measures:
 
For those of you participating in the on-site event that day, please adhere to the following safety guidelines:
 
1) Wear a mask.
 
2) Do not open bagged candy. Once at the event, the church will give you a bucket to place the candy in and a pair of tongs that you will use to hand it out to the children who will remain in their cars while Trunk or Treating.
 
3) Wear gloves.  The church will provide these for you if you do not have any.
