Responsibilities Include:
- Board of Christian Outreach - the missions of our congregation, including financial support and volunteer opportunities, as we reach out to our community, country and world.
- Advance Ministry - Sylvania UCC's caring ministry. This group devotes time to outreach to those in our congregation through: cardwriting, visiting, telephoning, praying and transporting.
- Fellowship Committee - provides opportunities for our faith community to gather in various settings throughout the year.
- Retreats - held twice a year for the spiritual refreshment of the women and friends of our church. The day-long fall retreat is held locally. Our spring retreat is an overnight at the Weber Center on the campus of Siena Heights University in Adrian.
- New Member Assimilation - Kathy meets with new members to share Sylvania UCC's opportunities for involvement and to discover areas of interest.
